As keynote speaker, Jan Wong, will address the teachers about her passion for creative non-fiction. As InCITE judge, Krystal Lunardo and her sister, Lauren Knowles, VC Alumnus Class of 2017 and in her first year of study at Ryerson's Journalism program, will work with the student winners of the 2018 InCITE publication in a writer's workshop.

From 2:30 pm until 3:30 pm a panel discussion on the value of creative non-fiction in the English classroom will occur. Moderated by Matt Trevisan, Department Chair of English at St. Andrew's College, the panel will consist of Jan Wong, keynote speaker, Tristan Bronca, Villanova College alumnus, Class of 2009, and Editor at the Medical Post and freelance journalist, and Brendan Kennedy, investigative reporter at The Toronto Star.
